Apple CEO Tim Cook has launched the Apple Watch at a special event in San Francsico.
“We can’t wait for people to start wearing Apple Watch to easily access information that matters, to interact with the world, and to live a better day by being more aware of their daily activity than ever before,” said Tim Cook.
Apple’s website lists a total of 38 models.
It has separated Apple Watch models into three distinct collections: The Apple Watch Sport, the Apple Watch, and the Apple Watch Edition. All three offer both 38mm and 42mm rectangular case sizing options, but materials and finishes vary by collection.
Apple Watch Sport is composed of customized aluminum alloy. Comes in silver or Space Gray. Color bands are made of high-performance plastic
Apple Watch Edition features an 18-karat gold (or rose gold if you want) case and buckle along with the sapphire crystal Retina Display
