Microsoft launches its own Social Media Site “So.Cl”

Microsoft has launched its own Social Networking website “So.Cl” (Pronounced “Social”).

Microsofot however clarifies that the So.Cl in no way competition to Facebook. The project is meant to complement Microsoft’s competitors.


The So.cl experimental research project combines social networking and search. It was previously launched only for few American universities.

Now Microsoft had opened So.Cl to the public people. It was created by Microsoft’s Fuse labs.

The layout of ‘So.cl’ resembles existing social networks especially Google+.

Users can either use their Facebook login details or Windows Live login details for start using “So.Cl”.
