Google:
Google had released the Top Search Terms in this year 2012 as “Zeitgeist 2012”.
Whitney Houston was the “top trending” search of the year, according to Google.Korean rapper PSY’s “Gangnam Style” music video and Hurricane Sandy got second and third place.
Twitter:
“Trends are the topics for which we see noteworthy spikes in Twitter conversations. The 2012 Trends reveal what captured our attention, rather than what terms were consistently popular”, said Twitter.
Its most popular tweets came from President Barack Obama celebrating “Four More Years,” Justin Bieber mourning the loss of a young cancer patient.
FaceBook:
Facebook newsroom said that “Today we’re releasing Facebook’s Year in Review, a look back at the people, moments and things that created the most buzz in 2012 among the billion people around the world on Facebook”.
Not only show you the world’s activity on Facebook, they focused on you personally and compiled a nice timeline of your top twenty moments from the past year.
Yahoo:
Yahoo also released it’s annual review “Kony 2012”. According to yahoo Elections, iPhone 5 and Kim Kardashian got first three places
