Yahoo Shutting Down Classic Mail service.Users are forced to Upgrade new one.
In a Yahoo Help post the company said that upgrading requires users to agree to terms including “automated content scanning.” That will facilitate search algorithms to read through the content of people’s messages in order to target relevant advertising.
The mail upgrades have been facilitated for Web, Windows 8, iPhone/iPod touch and Android.
Users will be allowed to use the older version only until Monday, June 3rd.
If you don’t want to use the new Yahoo Mail, you can download your mail using IMAP or close your account.
