Tuesday, October 22 – Google has bought the French Company FlexyCore. This 5-years-old company is best known for its DroidBooster Android app. which improves the speed of apps running Android without increasing battery drain.
According to a French language site L’Express, Google has just purchased this French firm FlexyCore for €16.9 million ($23.1 million).
Google made significant steps in smoothing out Android performance with Project Butter. This acquisition will help Google to improve the performance of Android further.
Google said it decided to buy the company as “the FlexyCore team has strong expertise in building software to optimize Android device performance, and we think they’d be a great fit with our team”.
