Google has released beta version of Chrome plugin “Voice Search Hotword” to allow desktop users to activate the Chrome browser’s voice-controlled web search feature just by saying “OK, Google“.
Google Chrome users just have to say “OK Google” followed by a search query; the speech will be picked up by the computer’s microphone and processed in the Google cloud. And, it can also execute simple instructions such as setting a timer.
Users can download this Chrome Extension from Chrome Store, and start talking to Chrome for doing the search hands-free.
