Google has announced that it will launch Market Pilot of project ara phones later this year. Puerto Rico will be first place to receive Project Ara phones.
This announcement was made by Google at the second Project Ara developers conference in Mountain View, California.
The Market pilot project will use food truck-style vans to get the Project Ara devices into users’ hands so they can try before they buy.
Google expects that over 20 modules will be available for people to use when launching Market pilot.
