Facebook has announced a new Facebook video app for TV to allow the viewers to enjoy Facebook videos on a bigger screen.
Last year Facebook rolled out the ability to stream videos from Facebook to TV, and now it is expanding this capability.
With this app, people can watch videos shared by friends or Pages they follow, top live videos from around the world, and recommended videos based on their interests. They can also catch up on videos they’ve saved to watch later, as well as revisit videos they’ve watched, shared or uploaded.
This new Facebook video app for TV will be rolled out soon to app stores for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung Smart TV.
Apart from this TV app, Facebook has announced few more features. Users can now stream videos in a corner of the screen as they continue scrolling through their newsfeeds. Videos will also autoplay with sound as a user scrolls down and vertical videos will expand to fill the screen.
