FaceTime bug allows iPhone users to hear audio of Contacts without permission.

A major FaceTime bug has been discovered that allows iPhone users to call another device via FaceTime and hear audio on the other end before the recipient has accepted or rejected the call.

Apple has acknowledged a flaw in its FaceTime software is allowing this eavesdropping.

The bug has been currently spreading virally over social media. Apple has taken Group FaceTime offline. The Status for FaceTime is showing as “Group FaceTime is temporarily unavailable”

This major bug made people to think about the privacy risks of using communication devices.

9to5mac has reported that this bug allows users to see the Video also without other user’s permission/knowledge.
