Twitter has announced that it is rolling out dark mode named as “lights out” to the iOS devices.
People are expecting “Dark Mode” in all the Apps. Because Dark Mode can help to save Battery life for the Devices that use OLED Display.
By listening to the demands of the users, Twitter is rolling out this Dark Mode for the Twitter App of iOS. Currently it will not be available for Android users.
Twitter had already provided Dark Theme. But that was not actual Dark mode, and therefore that was not useful for saving battery life.
For using this Dark Mode, “Lights Out”, follow the below steps.
- Open the Twitter app on your iPhone.
- Swipe right, and head to Settings and privacy> Display and sound.
- Tap on the dark mode toggle, and select Lights out option.
