1.Robird – Flying Robot:
Birds are beautiful creatures. However, if you work in aviation, harbours, waste management or agriculture, you will be aware that birds can be a very tough problem to deal with. Besides being a nuisance, birds can also form a serious threat to safety in aviation. A Netherlands based companed named “Clear Flight Solutions” is trying to use Robots to address this issue.
“Robird” is an environmentally-friendly solution for all bird-related problems. Robirds are truly unique remotely controlled robotic birds of prey, with the realistic appearance and weight of their living counterparts.
2.Robot for “picking Vegetables” in Indoor Farms:
This Robot can see the fruits and understand whether they are ripe and ready to pick, even in highly cluttered and complicated growing enrollments. Robot grippers can reach deep into tangled vines and pluck a single dried fruit without leaving a mark. It moving around inside of your plant records more than just a gentle touch. The sensors of the robot see the world in full 3d and can use this information to plan just the right path to the target.
3.”Bonirob” gets rid of weeds without herbicides:
Bonirob, which is approximately the size of a compact car, uses video- and lidar-based positioning as well as satellite navigation to find its way around the fields. It knows its position to the nearest centimeter. It also helps minimize the environmental impact of crop farming. The agricultural robot also makes everyday work in the fields easier. On the basis of leaf shape, Bonirob can distinguish between crops and weeds. With the help of a rod, it gets rid of weeds mechanically, rather than with weed killer. Undesired plants are simply and swiftly rammed into the ground.
4.”Tertill” – Solar powered Weeding Robot:
Tertill is an adorable robot that will roam your garden every day cutting the weeds. Tertill recognizes weeds by height following the logic of ‘high – weed, tall – something else’. But if you have recently planted small plants you can easily protect them from Tertill by placing protective collars around them.
Tertill stores the solar power it gathers in a battery and uses that power in a smart and responsible way. Meaning that on cloudy days it will save energy by roaming the garden less frequently. Additionally, the Tertill is waterproof so it can comfortably sit out in the rain.
5.”TreeRover” – Planting the trees:
Tree Rover is a tiny tree planting robot. The “TreeRover” is four-wheeled, battery-powered, and holds the tree planting mechanism which consists of a magazine of 10 tree seedlings. Through the use of compressed air, a hollow spike is dug into the ground which releases the seedlings. After the seeds are in the ground, a mechanical arm taps the earth to secure them and then, with its electric motor, it moves on to the next site. The 10-tree magazine takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
