Google uses 107,000 Mirrors to create 1.4-square-mile portrait of Margaret Hamilton

Google is celebrating 50th anniversay of Moon landing by creating a massive 1.4-square-mile portrait of the Apollo 11 computer programmer Margaret Hamilton , by using more than 107,000 mirrors .

Margaret Hamilton was the director of the Software Engineering Division of the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory, which developed on-board flight software for NASA’s Apollo space program.
In 2016, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Barack Obama.
Google’s portrait is enough to fit more than 200 Eiffel Towers.
Over 107,000 Mirrors at a solar facility are positioned to reflect the light of the moon, instead of the sun, to create the tribute for Margaret Hamilton
This Image is larger than New York’s Central Park.
The portrait of Margaret Hamilton was visible from 1,900 meters above sea level. i-e from more than 1 mile.
