Giant Gundam Robot Can Move and Kneel Down

Posted on September 24, 2020

A Giant Humanoid Robot is developed by Japan’s Gundam Factory Yokohama.

It stands just over 18 metres tall and weighs 25 tonnes.

This Life-sized Robot is modelled on one of the robots from the hugely popular 1970s anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.

Engineers reportedly started designing this robot six years ago.

It was due to become the Factory’s centerpiece on October 1 but its official unveiling has been pushed back due to coronavirus.

A testing video of the Gundam robot taking a knee and moving its arms and fingers is shared on social media.

It seems the official opening of the Giant robot will happen later this year.
