Google has started rolling out a redesigned Google Play store on Android phones and tablets. All devices running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and above will get the new design.
“The new design focuses on bigger images that jump off the page. Similarly themed content is grouped together so you can hone in on a magazine to read or an app to try,” wrote Michael Siliski, group product manager for Google Play.
The redesigned PlayStore is simpler with bigger images and cleaner interface. And also the new design prominently displays Apps, Books, Movies and Tv, Music, Games and Magazines tab separately right on top of the Play Store.Google has also simplified the checkout process for paid apps.
