Dell has acquired Enstratius an award-winning provider of software and consulting services that deliver hybrid-cloud and single-cloud management capabilities.

Enstratius which was founded in 2008 and is based in Minneapolis. Enstratius offers cloud management services to hybrid and single-cloud customers as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that sits either as a hosted service or within the network.
Enstratius currently supports more than 20 public and private cloud platforms, including OpenStack, VMware, Rackspace, Amazon Web Services and Windows Azure.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dell said it will retain Enstratius’ staff and continue to invest in its engineering and sales divisions to help grow the business.
