PayPal president David Marcus is leaving from PayPal to join Facebook to lead mobile messaging products.
“We’re excited by the potential to continue developing great new messaging experiences that better serve the Facebook community and reach even more people, and David will be leading these efforts,” Facebook said in a post.
“I’m excited to go to Facebook to lead Messaging Products. And I’m looking forward to getting my hands dirty again attempting to build something new and meaningful at scale”,David said in LinkedIn.
eBay announced that PayPal President David Marcus is leaving PayPal at the end of June to lead Facebook’s messaging products.
Marcus joined PayPal as vice president in 2011, and was promoted to president in 2012.
