Amazon has introduced a streaming-music service called Prime Music streaming service with 1m songs.
Prime Music members, can listen ad-free to over a million songs from top artists.
Prime members can play Prime Music on compatible devices that support Amazon Music, including Kindle Fire 2nd Generation, HD, and HDX, iOS devices, Android smartphones and tablets (v.4.0 and above), PC, Mac, and the Amazon.com website
The service, available only to members of Amazon’s $99-per-year Prime membership program in the U.S.
“You’re going to see a lot of songs from the Billboard 100, but you’re not going to see a lot of new releases,” said Steve Boom, Amazon’s digital music vice president. “There’ll be something for everybody.”
Those interested in Prime Music can take up a 30-day trial to test the service out.
