Google has acquired mDialog, a video advertising company which analyze and ultimately monetize advertising against their content across multiple streaming platforms. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Longer term, we’re also very excited about combining mDialog with the DoubleClick platform for publishers. Together, we’re looking forward to offering content creators new and even better ways to make money from their live and on-demand content”,mDialog said in a blogpost.
In a post on Google+, the company said that it will “work with the mDialog team to incorporate their technology and expertise into our DoubleClick product suite,” helping publishers on DoubleClick monetize their video content.
mDialog will continue to work with its existing customers with “no immediate changes.”
mDialog is the leading provider of cloud-based video advertising technology which was founded in 2006.
