Apple has launched iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 on thursday.Both come with the fingerprint scanner and NFC technology.
The iPad Air 2 is just 6.1mm thick.Other features on the iPad Air 2 include a graphics-supporting A8X chip that is two-and-a-half times faster than the one in the iPad Air. The camera has also been upgraded to an 8-megapixel iSight camera, and the device will provide up to 10 hours of battery life.
The iPad mini 3 camera hasn’t changed much and remains the same as the iPad mini 2.For the iPad mini 3, Apple has kept the A7 processor with M7 motion co-processor.
The iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi only versions will be priced as follows: 16GB will start at $499, 64GB for $599 and 128G for $699. The iPad Air 2 WiFi plus cellular will be priced like this: 16 GB for $629, 64GB for $729 and 128GB for $829.
The iPad Mini 3 with Wi-fi will start at $399 (16GB), $499 (64GB) and Rs $599 (128GB). The iPad Mini 3 Wi-fi + Cellular models will be sold at $529, (16GB), $629 (64GB) and $729 (128GB).
iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 come in three gorgeous metallic finishes including gold, silver and space grey. Both iPads will be up for pre-order online in 29 countries and territories beginning Friday, October 17.
